Metal Components, Incorporated has been upgrading our equipment for the last 20 years to be an ideal precision job shop partner. By constantly upgrading this equipment we are improving efficiency and quality on high production work as well as proto-type work.
All of the vertical CNC machining centers can be equipped with any of our four Haas HASC indexers, and when multiple operations are necessary our Haas T5C Series tilting indexer can be mounted on the Haas and Teknics so these operations can be performed in one cycle improving efficiency and accuracy.
Our lathes are no exception when it comes to improving efficiency, all our lathes are wired to a pc where all programs are prepared prior to set up. All machines can be equipped with an 8" chuck or a 5c collet adapter and run the same software eliminating long wait times for 1 machine to open up. After a job is complete programs are stored and saved improving lead time on future orders .
In keeping with improving efficiency we have CNC production lathes which can be set up in half the time of screw machines. These lathes are for those short to medium size quantities where close tolerance dimensions and time to production is critical.
